Worship

The Worship Committee is dedicated in glorifying God, encouraging and facilitating true corporate worship and personal worship in the Capstone community. We strive to be personal fervent worshippers and interceding worshippers while encouraging others to do the same. As we discern through prayer and pray for Capstone, we understand how to shape our worship to glorify God rather than have worship that pleases people only. We are committed to living a worshipful life outside of Sunday and understanding worship in its true sense. By actively taking part in learning how to worship God and being equipped by Him, we hope that worship service will continue to deepen and foster the presence of God in Capstone church.

Children

The Children’s Ministry at Capstone is filled with a fun, energetic group of kids that love God. Jesus said in Matthew 19:14, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” We believe that children are capable of having their own personal relationship with God and able to grow in their faith even at a young age. The Children’s Ministry focuses on giving kids the opportunity to worship, pray and learn about God in new and exciting ways that are relatable to their life stage. The program runs on Sundays at 2:30pm for children in preschool and elementary grades.

Prayer

“My house will be a house of prayer” (Luke 19:46). Capstone Church follows after Jesus’ example and strives to be a place of prayer for the church where the body of believers come together in unity and pray for the sole will of God. “Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 18:18). We pursue God’s great and awesome plan for the church, community, Canada , and the world believing that when we humble ourselves, repent from our wicked ways, and fervently pray for the release of His power, He will open the floodgates of heaven and send forth His tidal of blessings on the earth. We believe in a BIG God wanting to do BIG things during these times, so come out on Saturday morning (6:00am) to the church for a time of prayer and be a part of what God plans to do for those who seek His face.
